This Agreement is governed by the Traditional Chinese version below, which shall control in the event of any discrepancy. By downloading, installing, or executing the software accompanying this Agreement (the “Software”), you agree to be bound by the following terms.
“Licensor” means the publisher of the Software. “You” or “Licensee” means the individual or entity installing or running the Software. “Single-User Edition” means the self-hosted distribution of the Software offered free of charge under this Agreement.
Licensor grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and run the Single-User Edition of the Software, without restriction as to context of use (personal, household, or internal business use are all permitted), without expiration, and without any limitation other than as set forth in this Agreement. You may install and run the Software only within environments You control, and only for use by You and by members of Your household or organization.
You may not redistribute the Software (whether as a container image or as a tarball), in whole or in part, modified or unmodified, to any third party, whether or not for consideration. All users must obtain the Software solely through the distribution channels designated by Licensor (the container registry and the public Releases page maintained by Licensor). Licensor disclaims all liability for any damage arising from copies obtained through unauthorized redistribution or from versions that have been modified by parties other than Licensor.
You may not use the Software to provide a hosted, managed, or otherwise publicly or commercially available service to third parties, whether or not for consideration. Without limiting the foregoing, You may not operate a deployment that persons outside Your household or organization are able to register for or otherwise use. Rights to operate the Software as a service are available separately; enquiries may be directed to the address in the Contact clause below.
You may not decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer the Software, except to the extent such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law, or except for the sole purpose of extracting data that You have stored within the Software (including, without limitation, by means of the Software’s built-in export functionality, or by querying a database instance that You operate). This exception survives regardless of any other provision of this Agreement.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. IF LICENSOR IS FOUND LIABLE NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, LICENSOR’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO LICENSOR FOR THE SOFTWARE (WHICH, FOR THE SINGLE-USER EDITION, IS NT$0).
The Single-User Edition is provided free of charge and is therefore not subject to refund.
In the event Licensor discontinues maintenance or updates of the Software, instances already deployed by You shall continue to operate. Your data shall remain within the environment You control, and shall remain fully exportable via the Software’s built-in export functionality.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
